seasonally. Last Updated: 11/29/2022 9:57:00 am James F. Holland Memorial Park Splash Pad is closed in the fall of 2021 because the rubber pad surface is deteriorating, becoming a
safety hazard. The aim is to complete all repairs during the off-season to reopen in the spring of 2022. While some repair work has been done to the structures, the surface repair
of the rubber cushion is not yet complete. The City of Palm Coast is working with all parties including design architects and contractors to determine future next steps.
Environmental supply chain issues have added to the delay of a more rapid solution. The City recognizes the inconvenience this causes for families, however, the City’s priority
is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience at all parks. Holland Park remains open for all other recreational activities. This includes spacious playgrounds, sports fields, dog
parks, tennis and handball courts, covered pavilions, shuffleboard and bocce courts, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, etc. James F. Holland Memorial Park offers 26 acres
of varied recreational facilities. A 3/4 mile hiking trail runs along the perimeter of the park. Holland Park features a dedicated toddler area as well as larger spaces for all
ages. The splash pad features a variety of sprays that come from hand-carved trees, plants and animals, all sourced from the region. Explore the unique Bulow Plantation-themed
playground complete with coquina stone structures featuring slides, stairs and ladders, climbing walls, zip lines, archaeological digs, sand pits, treehouses, smelter,
ADA-accessible seesaw, sail ball and seating area. This park is also home to the Palm Coast Historical Society, where you can learn more about the history of the Palm Coast and the
importance of the Bulow Plantation Sugar Mill. Play with your pups at the 1.5-acre Dog Park. Secure entrance to the 1.5-acre Dog Park opens up to two separate play areas, one for
large dogs and one for small dogs. Wash-down station is also available. The facility has three tennis courts and one LED mini-tennis court, two shuffleboard courts, two basketball
