Vishakapatnam: “We need to create opportunities for ourselves,” said Industry and IT Minister Gudivada Amarnath as she launched the ‘She Creates’ project organized by Infinitum Media in collaboration with Google at AU Convention Center on Beach Road on Thursday evening.

“Each person has a unique talent and strength,” he said and told how young people are growing in the time of COVID, to make their work opportunities.

He expressed the hope that Visakhapatnam will become a platform to support creative ideas. 300 YouTube channels have been started by women and young women from Vizag, which is a sign of positive development, he said.

The Infinitum company was invited to start its operation from Visakhapatnam.

The minister said that necessary support would be given from the state government. Similar projects will be done in cities like Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupati.

The head of Infinitum, Vandana Bandaru, said that he started his business career in Visakhapatnam. “They are ready to inspire young people.”

He said that women should be used as digital tools in order to give them economic power.

According to MD Satyadev Chadha, young people are the future since they are creating opportunities and activities with their own ideas.

Later, the minister started YouTube channels Alaknanda, Amulya, and Nanditha.
