East Coast Railway (E Co R) General Manager RN Sunkar inspected the KK-II and NMDC line on Monday. He inspected the sidings, railway stations, railway stations and the NMDC mining site.

He conducted the ‘window trailing inspection’ of the section to check the road, curves, bridges, points and track. Anup Satpathy, Divisional Aviation Manager, heads of various departments and branch officers of the Waltair Division accompanied the CEO during his inspection.

The Director General reviewed Kirandul-Jagdalpur’s duplication of activities and side activities and suggested some changes. He reviewed a rapid transit system at Kirandul, which is useful in reducing bus loading time from 4 hours to 2 hours.

He interacted with the senior officials of NMDC and held detailed discussions for improving the load. He instructed the authorities to complete the project immediately.

The GM held meetings with senior officials of NMDC to discuss various issues related to increasing loading of rakes. This will not only increase the traffic of both parties but also increase the revenue.

Mr. Sunkar visited Kirandul, Bhansi, Dantewada and Jagdalpur centers and met representatives of various organizations. He said that various development activities have been implemented in the country as per the guidelines issued by the Railway Board. Train services have been extended, the rakes of some trains have been changed to LHB rakes and the platform height has been raised at some stations, he said.
