The city police (crime wing) arrested three people on charges of four property offenses under West Sub division limits here on Thursday.

The arrested were identified as K. Raju (30), J Janardhan (28) and Y Bhanu (30), all from Arilova.

The police recovered around 74.7 grams of gold from them.

Addressing a press conference in the city, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crimes) G. Naganna said that on December 12, they received a complaint from a woman who said she had been abducted. His 14.7 gram gold chain features two bike carriers. while he was traveling near Prahladapuram. Based on the complaint, the police formed special teams and identified the accused through CCTV footage.

On arrest, the police found that they were involved in three property crimes in Brundavan Colony, Simhapuri Colony and another area in the borders.

In total, police recovered 74.7 grams of gold, he said.
