Sharing the pulpit with Chandrasekaran at the 10th meeting of Pandit Deendayal Energy University here, Ambani said the Tata Group’s giant strides in the field of renewable energy under his leadership were very inspiring.
“We are honored to have N Chandrasekaran, chairman of the Tata Group, as the main guest for today’s event,” he said. “He is a true inspiration to India’s business community and youth.”
Ambani was president of the University’s Board of Governors while the head of Tata Sons was the chief guest at the meeting. “Through his vision, belief and rich hands-on experience, he has authored the spectacular growth of the Tata Group in recent years,” said Ambani.
Stating that Chandrasekaran has led Tatas into the business of the future, he said, “the great strides the group has taken in the field of renewable energy under his leadership” are very inspiring.
“His steps reflect his belief in the ability of New Energy technology to lead us to a better and brighter future,” he said. “If India is to become a renewable energy powerhouse, it will be possible through the combined will and initiative of many leading business groups working with a national coalition ethos.”
