NEW DELHI: Sugar stocks traded lower on Tuesday at 10:09am & Chemicals (up 3.16%), Ugar Sugar Works (up 3.00%), DCM Shriram Industries (up 1.17%), BAJAJHIND ( up 0.53%) and & Industry (up 0.42%) were among the top gainers.

Sakthi Sugars (down 7.55%), Simbhaoli Sugars (down 7.16%), Rana Sugars (down 5.11%), MAGADHSUGAR (down 4.33%),

& Chemicals (down 3.95%), KMSugar Mills (down 3.92%), Dhampur Sugar Mills (down 3.41%), KCP Sugar & Industries (down 3.37%), Ponni Sugars (Erode) (down 3.05%) and Vishwaraj Sugar Industries (down 2.91%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading down 172.65 points to 18247.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 573.25 points to 61232.94 around 10:09 am.

Adani Enterprises (up 0.4%), UltraTech Cement (up 0.38%) and Axis Bank (up 0.29%) were among the top winners in the Nifty package.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries (down 2.78%), Tech Mahindra (down 1.83%), UPL Ltd (down 1.82%), JSW Steel (down 1.7%), Power Grid Corporation of India ( down 1.69%), Larsen & Toubro (down 1.68%), Eicher Motors (down 1.65%), Asian Paints (down 1.56%), Hindustan Unilever (down 1.53%) and Tata Steel (down 1.52%) trading in the red.
