Visakhapatnam: A woman killed her husband by hitting him on the head with an iron on Thursday Lakshmipuram in Pendurthi due to family disputes.
The deceased has been identified as Kilari Nageswara Rao (47), a railway employee, from Dondaparthi, and the accused, Jagadeswarifrom Nidadavolu.
According to police, Nageswara Rao and Jagadeeswari have been married for two years and have two children, aged 18 and 14.
Nageswara Rao lived with his family in his own house in Lakshmipuram for the past few years.
Jagadeeswari had lodged a complaint against her husband and family at the Disha police station a year and a half ago. They have been living separately for the past few months. He demanded alimony.
Nageswara came to Lakshmipuram on Wednesday at 11.30 pm. A woman is in conflict with a man. Nageswara threatened to kill him. Jagadeswari threw chilli powder on him and left the place. But the accused chased him and hit him on the head.
