VISAKHAPATNAM: The women entrepreneurs expo – Angadi – got a huge response from people in and around Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

Mayor G. Hari Venkata Kumari inaugurated the expo organized at a private hotel by the businesswomen wing of AP Chambers. There are 25 different stalls at the expo displaying a variety of handicraft products like Macrame art products, soaps and perfumes, cast jewellery, khadi sarees, paintings, resin art products, organic millet powders and cold pressed oils.

The organizers provided snacks such as chocolate, ice cream and pastries at cost. Exotic plants are sold.
“I wish there were more grocery stores that featured local delicacies,” said Vicki Hale, an immigrant from Canada.
