Carl Sagan famously wrote in his 1995 A demon-troubled world That a fat belly specialist standing next to a baby mother exerts more gravitational force on the newborn than the entire planet of Jupiter. The stars are still moving significantly lower. So, astrology is just so smart.

In the eyes of the Catholic Church, astrology is not only useless – it is truly sinful and dangerous because it tries to “divide” and usurp God who alone determines our destiny. Apart from this, astrology is also anti-science and is a means of understanding the universe and ourselves. Below are some reasons why you should avoid astrology:

1. There are four such fundamental forces in the universe: gravity, electromagnetism, the strong nuclear force and the weak nuclear force. These four forces work by sending carrier particles that carry information between particles and tell them how to behave. Which of these forces govern astrology and why is it not known and examined? As a side note, do astrologers almost inevitably refer to “karma” as yet another, apparently, non-competitive force in the universe that similarly cannot be measured or identified? Why is no astrologer interested in understanding this pertinent scientific question? Here’s why: Astrology is not a science.

2. Where were the astrologers on September 10, 2001? Did they have no idea what was about to happen to America? How about the COVID-19 pandemic? The April 18, 1983, attack on the US Marine barracks in Beirut? There are millions of horrible things happening in the world every day. Where is the evidence that the astrologers were aware of any of them? I believe this is a legitimate and reasonable request for the small number of accurate predictions that have been documented before It is a question of fact.

3. Are we really expected to believe that all 2,977 deaths in the 9/11 World Trade Center attack all had the same astrological reading? It is a reasonable assumption that the deceased represented all 12 zodiac signs. If all of them had recorded some bad results for that day, astrologers would have been talking about it till this day.

4. If astrology can offer us such thorough and thorough knowledge, then why are predictions made so randomly, vaguely and haphazardly? Besides, why don’t astrologers just admit when they’re wrong, like real scientists do?

5. Astrology may not be so important if one does not need academic training to diagnose or read it. And if one doesn’t need academic training to understand this, why do professionals make so many mistakes? Why can’t they express themselves better? Why do they insist that it is a science?

6. Why are there non-profit astrological organizations that provide free readings to the poor? Of course the astrologer believes that what they offer is very valuable and can help the poor. So why aren’t they helping the poor neighbors? Instead, astrologers charge exorbitant fees despite their innumerable mistakes and errors again.

7. Why are astrologers often so reticent when asked to talk about their training, education and approach?

8. If astrology has any validity as a science, then why don’t they all agree on its methods and assumptions and predictions? Physicists can all come to the same conclusion when analyzing gravity, inertia and time dilation. Why not astrology?

9. If astrology is a science then why don’t all our universities have astrology departments?

10. If astrology is true, then how come governments, businesses, meteorological agencies and the stock market do not employ astrologers? Nancy Reagan was fond of astrology, but there is little evidence that Rooney took this nonsense seriously.

11. Astrologers cannot identify any new research in the last 3,000 years. A science with scientific research is a misnomer. Instead, astrology is based on unfounded fears and prejudices and is judged noscience

12. There is a fundamental logical difference in the theory of astrology. If my horoscope says that I will have a very bad day because of a conflict with another person, it seems to follow that the other people I fight with will have the same justification. his Horoscopic forecast. If it was true, why is there no hard evidence for it?

13. If astrology is correct, why are astrologers not rich? They can easily benefit from this science just as their clients employ them. But, perhaps, astrologers are “forbidden” to use their gifts for personal gain. But, if that was true, why don’t they go to another astrologer for their “wisdom”?

14. Why are astrologers and other scam-artist charlatans different in their approach? Why so much mumbo-jumbo and so little straight talk and proof positive?

15. If it is a legitimate occupation, then why isn’t “Mahoot” listed in the US Bureau of Labor’s Occupational Outlook Handbook (published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics)?

16. Astrology has never explained why twins born at the same minute of the same day are separated.

17. If astrology is a valid science, why isn’t there a grassroots movement among astrology to restore the field’s reputation and show how “scientific” it is? Finally, inquiring and skeptical minds want to know.

18. If astrology is a legitimate science, then why is it that astrologers often claim to be psychics, mediums, palmists, runemasters, magicians, satanists, crystal healers, psychics, etc.? It’s a little weird by everyone’s standards. Legitimate surgeons who have completed 16 years of study and training in an accredited medical school as well So-called “psychic healers” appear who pretend to cure incurable diseases with a cheap hand. However, we often find lifelong criminals who never finished high school who become regular astrologers.

The scientific method is a method that has characterized the natural sciences since Francis Bacon described it in the 16th century after several centuries of Catholic involvement in the development of science. (See here, here and here.)

Bacon explained that science consists of systematic observation, measurement, and experimentation, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses. Criticism, debate and logical reasoning are the backbone of the scientific method. Any field of study that defends itself from critics such as astrology, alchemy, “gender theory,” “Marxist dialectics,” ufology, cryptobiology and tarot divination. no science

Astrology is not a science, and consulting an astrologer is a sin. Don’t do that.
